Meet Anna

Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” – Hippocrates

Hi, my name is Anna and I come from Prague in the Czech Republic, where I studied English and German languages and became a teacher.  Soon after that I met my American husband, Jared, and decided to live with him in America.  The beginnings in America were not easy but I started working, volunteering, kept studying and also kept cooking the way my Mum used to teach me.  Those were the moments when I realized that good real food, nutrition and health are inseparable.  Besides teaching languages, I fell in love with food, cooking, and developed a strong passion for a healthy lifestyle.

Thanks to life’s fate, or through simple coincidence, I met a very good friend/ND who put me on a GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) diet and introduced me to a work of a dentist, Weston A. Price and his book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.  The book resonated with me.  Later on my friend told me about the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA), which prepares healthcare professionals (NDs, MDs, acupuncturists, pharmacists, LMTs, etc.) and other health-conscious people to became certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioners.  I decided to study and started to apply the knowledge.  I was finally healing and getting better!  I graduated from NTA and became a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through Nutritional Therapy Association.  I learned about the Foundations and other very important things.  I found out that Food is Fun and You Deserve to Enjoy It and Thrive on It!  You can email me or call me and we can see how I can help!

How Nutritional Therapy Changed My Life:

“I have always been health conscious but it didn’t show.  I often felt tired, had cravings, suffered from thyroid issues, and my weight fluctuated.  Upon studying and applying the knowledge of Nutritional Therapy, I began to see and feel results very quickly.  Today, I feel better than ever, and you can too!”
